1. GENERAL INFO

Bomstadbad rental rules

This agreement applies to the rental of pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes and to the rental of cabins and rooms.
We reserve the right to move you to equivalent accommodation.
In addition to these rental rules, rules of conduct and rules of comfort must be followed when you are staying with us.

Check in & out

For cottage and room bookings, the check-in time is at 10:00 am. 15:00 and check-out time at 11:00.

For reservations of tents, caravans and motorhomes, the check-out time is at noon. 12:00 and check-in time at 13:00.

Age limit for booking and access

To book/contract with us, you must be 18 years old. For group bookings, at least two people must be 18 years old, unless a higher age limit is specified at the time of booking. However, single parents living with several children are exempt from this requirement. If you are unsure, check the rules of the campsite in question. Compliance with the age limit is a requirement for access to the site/cabin/room. Identification may be required on arrival.

Handling fee

There is no charge for booking online. For reservations with personal service where an invoice will be sent, a handling fee of 135 SEK per booking is charged.

Booking confirmation

You should receive a written confirmation of your booking. The booking confirmation contains important information about your booking. Check that the content of the booking confirmation matches what you have booked. If you find any errors in the confirmation, please inform us as soon as possible.

When does my booking become binding?

The booking becomes binding when you receive a confirmation of your booking from us. It can be done in different ways, in writing, by email or through an online booking system.

Open purchase for 24 hours

You can buy for 24 hours if there are more than 7 days left until arrival.

Camping Key Europe (CKE) or Camping ID.

We are members of SCR Svensk Camping where Camping Key Europe (CKE) alt. Camping ID is mandatory for accommodation in tent, caravan and motorhome sites. A digital Camping-ID (free of charge) and a digital CKE (199sek/year) can be subscribed at the site alt. online before arrival. With the CKE, you get access to accommodation discounts, liability and accident insurance during your stay, benefits and offers, as well as the camping catalog in your mailbox.

2. PAYMENT

2.1 For bookings made via www.booking.com:

You pay at the time of booking, alternatively. 30 days before arrival via booking.com

2.2 For bookings made online via bomstadbaden.se, swecamp. se or camping.se:

You pay at the time of booking.

2.3 For bookings made through Bomstadbaden camping by email, telephone or drop-in booking:

-When booking 0-20 days before arrival date

If you book a property with less than 20 days until arrival, you pay the full amount at the resort on arrival.

-When booking 20 days or more before arrival date

If an item is booked with more than 20 days until arrival, the booking is paid by invoice. There are two possibilities: 1. pay the full amount directly 2. pay the 30% registration fee within 20 days of the booking date. The remaining amount must be paid at least 30 days before arrival.

2.4 General payment conditions

Late or non-payment

If you do not pay any initial registration fee on time, we have the right to cancel your booking. If you are late with your final payment and do not pay the full amount despite reminders, this is considered a cancellation on your part and the cancellation rules apply.

Departure earlier than planned

If you decide to leave earlier than planned, no refunds will be made unless otherwise agreed with us.

Failure to check out

If you have failed to check out on the day of departure at the scheduled time, we will contact you. If we are unable to contact you, we have the right to move your belongings/baggage to allow for cleaning for the next guest. We will charge you for cleaning.

What are my rights?

In the event of our breach of contract, serious disruption or if the service otherwise deviates from the information we have provided or what you could reasonably have expected, you have the right to demand a remedy, price reduction or cancellation. Any breach of contract or other deficiencies in the service due to causes beyond our control shall not give rise to compensation under this contract (see the section on the limits of the campsite’s control responsibility below).

Errors that occur during your stay should be reported to us immediately so that we can remedy the problem. If you fail to report errors, you cannot claim compensation.

If you have received compensation but are not satisfied with it, you must notify us within 3 weeks (21 days) of departure. This can be done orally, in writing or by email. We recommend e-mail.

Limits of the installation’s control responsibility

If the stay cannot be carried out because of an obstacle beyond our control, which we could not reasonably have foreseen at the time of the conclusion of the contract and the consequences of which we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, we are not liable for damages or other penalties.

If the obstacle is due to someone we have hired to carry out all or part of the camping service, we are free from liability for damages only if the person we have hired would also be free according to the paragraph above. The same applies if the failure is due to a supplier we have used or someone else upstream.

What are my obligations?

During the stay at the campsite, the attached regulations apply. Violation of rules and regulations for the facility, or breach of the agreement in general, may lead to the agreement being terminated with immediate effect, whereby a refund of any remaining rental fee will not be issued. If you are staying at the campsite, you will also be responsible for the cost of the entire rental period and for any refunds to guests who have suffered injuries or other damages.

What happens if we do not agree?

If we cannot reach an agreement, you can, among other things use the following dispute resolution bodies:

  • The Visitas liability board, which is the industry’s own complaints board. We will follow the recommendations of the Accountability Board. http://www.visita.se/mitt-foretag/Ansvarsnamnden/
  • General Complaints Board (see address below) The General Complaints Board is an approved dispute resolution body under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act. We will follow ARN’s recommendations.
  • You can also contact the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

We do not undertake to participate in alternative dispute resolution procedures other than the General Complaints Board (ARN) and Visita, but will take a position on this issue if a dispute arises. You are also free to take the dispute to a public court.

GDPR – Privacy Policy

We collect information to help us provide our services to you, which includes: email, name, address details and phone number.

We collect this data for several reasons. Partly to make your booking and stay with us possible and as smooth as possible, but also to be able to send you information, offers and newsletters. In line with the new GDPR legislation that entered into force on May 25, 2018, we will continue to collect as little personal data as possible about you.
Information stored for the purpose of sending offers or newsletters will be stored by us until you withdraw your consent. Data registered when booking is stored for as long as you choose to be a guest with us. You have the right to obtain once a year, free of charge, upon written request, access to the data recorded, the use made of the data, the source of the data and information on any recipients to whom the data have been disclosed. If you no longer wish to be our guest and want your data to be deleted, you can contact us at any time if the law (e.g. the Accounting Act) does not prevent us.

Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal under the Act (2005:59) on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts is excluded from contracts for accommodation, lodging or leisure activities and therefore you cannot withdraw from a contract for the rental of a tent, caravan, motorhome or cabin/room.

3. CHANGE/CANCELLATION POLICY

What happens if I want to change or cancel?

3.1 Booked via bomstadbaden (mail, phone or online at bomstadbaden.se)

Cancellation with cancellation protection

At the time of booking, you can buy cancellation protection. Cancellation protection costs 250 SEK for camping and 400 SEK for cottages, and there is an additional administration fee of 250 SEK at the time of cancellation.
Cancellation protection means that you can cancel up to the day before the agreed arrival date.

Cancellation conditions without cancellation protection

For cancellations without cancellation protection, the following conditions apply (when the open purchase rules do not apply).

  • If you cancel 30 days or more before entry, you will be refunded 70% of the agreed amount.
  • If the cancellation is made 29-2 days before access, you will be refunded 25% of the agreed amount.
  • If you cancel later than 2 days before the agreed access date, or if you interrupt your stay without a valid reason, no money will be refunded and we have the right to charge you for any unpaid amount agreed.

What if I want to change?

With us, you can change a reservation free of charge up to 2 weeks before arrival provided that:

  • The new amount is not less than the original amount. If the change to the booking involves a reduction in the amount or if the change is made within 2 weeks, the cancellation policy applies. If the new amount exceeds the original amount, the difference will be invoiced.
  • If you wish to make a date change in the booking, the new arrival date must be within a 6-month period from the original arrival date. If the new arrival date is more than 6 months from the original arrival date, cancellation rules apply.
  • Only one change / rebooking is made per booking, if more changes are desired, cancellation rules apply.

3.2 Booked via camping.se or swecamp.se

3.3 Booked via booking.com

If you have booked via www.booking.com, then they are responsible for the booking.

  • You can cancel free of charge if you do so more than 30 days before arrival.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days before arrival, you will be charged the full cost and the amount will be deducted from the card number you provided when booking.
  • In case of no-show without cancellation, you will be charged the full cost and the amount will be deducted from the card number you provided when booking.

4. Rules of procedure

For everyone’s well-being, the following rules of conduct apply at Swecamp Bomstadbaden:

CONSIDERATIONS

Show consideration for other guests, between 23.00 and 07.00 the campsite must be quiet. Noise or other loud sounds from stereos, etc. as well as noise, vandalism, etc. will result in immediate eviction and no refund for the remaining time at Bomstadbaden. The guard on duty can always be reached through the intercom at reception.

ENTRY AND EXIT

The main entrance is closed between 23.00 and 06.30, when car traffic is prohibited in the area.

LOCATION

No caravan may be placed without contacting the reception, (if the reception is not open, other instructions may be given), When placing a caravan on the site, respect the 4 m distance between the units.

SPEED LIMIT

Speed limits apply within the area and are limited to 20 km. Driving under the influence of alcohol is absolutely forbidden. Moped riding is only allowed to and from the checked-in unit.

RESPONSIBILITY

Bomstadbaden disclaims all responsibility for theft and damage to guests and their property that is beyond our control.
The guest may not use the cottage/campsite for anything other than what has been agreed (usually recreational purposes). The guest may also not allow more people to stay in the cottage/campsite than stated at the time of booking.
The guest undertakes to take good care of the cottage/campsite and to follow the rules and instructions in force. The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the cottage/campsite and its furnishings by the negligence of any member of the party.

CLEANING

The cottage/campsite must be cleaned before departure. If the cottage is not cleaned, it will be cleaned at your expense and invoiced later. If you choose to buy our cleaning service, dishwashing and garbage are not included, i.e. you throw away your own garbage and wash your dishes. If you do not do this, you will be charged 1000:-/1500:- depending on the type of cottage you have booked. Violation of the smoking ban in a cottage will result in a clean-up cost for you as a tenant of at least SEK 2500.
Buying our cleaning service costs 590:-/790:-/990:- depending on the type of house (excluding garbage and dishes).

COMPLAINTS

Please contact us directly with any complaints. Keep in mind that if you delay complaining, your chances of getting redress may be reduced.

THE CONTRACT IS TERMINATED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT IF:

  • You or someone else in your party is disruptive in the area.
  • You or someone else in your party commits vandalism in the cottage/room or on the grounds.
  • If the cottage/room/campsite is not used for its intended purpose.

If the contract is terminated due to the above reasons, you and your party must move out immediately and there will be no refund of the remaining rental amount. In the case of camping, the full rental period must be paid and you will also be liable for any refunds to affected guests.
