Just because August is knocking on the door, and the temperature is a few degrees cooler, it doesn’t mean that summer is over.
Make the most of the last days of summer in August at Bomstadbaden. The resort is not as busy as in June and July. However, there are still plenty of things to do.
Weather permitting, this period is also perfect for swimming and sunbathing on the beach. The water in Lake Vänern usually has a pleasant temperature even in August.
If you want to visit Bomstadbaden during a quieter period, late summer is perfect. We don’t have as many guests as in the high season, which creates a calmer atmosphere. Prices are also lower during this period, whether you choose to stay at the campsite or in a cabin.

We offer a range of different types of cottages. They range from small red-washed cottages to larger 54-square-meter cottages with private balconies. You live as comfortably as in your own summer house.

We have both bookable camping pitches for tents but also a specific tent area where you can come as a drop-in guest.

Why not choose one of our popular campervan sites with fantastic views of Lake Vänern. Or if you prefer more privacy and peace and quiet, we have areas for that too.

Choose from many different types of plots based on your preferences. We have everything from scenic plots to plots overlooking Lake Vänern.

With us at Bomstadbaden you will find the best beach hangout. We have Sweden’s best beach and call ourselves the Riviera of Värmland for a reason. Bring your loved ones and experience a magical sandy beach just outside Karlstad.
During the stay at the campsite, the attached regulations apply.
Violation of rules and regulations for the facility, or breach of the agreement in general, may lead to the agreement being terminated with immediate effect, whereby a refund of any remaining rental fee will not be issued. If you are staying at the campsite, you will also be responsible for the cost of the entire rental period and for any refunds to guests who have suffered injuries or other damages.
You can buy for 24 hours if there are more than 7 days left until arrival.
The cottage/campsite must be cleaned before departure. The price does not include cleaning, but you can buy our cleaning service, it costs 590:- for Linden, Eken, Aspen, Granen & Skogsgläntan 1, 790:- for Tallen and Villavagn and Skogsgläntan 2 and 990:- for Strandstugorna (excluding garbage and dishes).

The booking becomes binding when you receive a confirmation of your booking from us. It can be done in different ways, in writing, by email or through an online booking system.
